For beginners to advanced students, this series of classes taught by Jody Mattison and based on the well-known work by Kimon Nicolaides will follow his course of study in drawing the figure.

In the introduction to his book, Nicolaides stated that it is the job of the teacher to “teach students, not how to draw, but how to learn to draw”. By following the exercises planned each week, students can expect to increase observational skills, improve their drawing ability, and become more confident in their quest for “the true nature of artistic creation”.
