Happy Weekend!

Our daughter invited a few girlfriends over after school yesterday to celebrate her birthday. All of them love to make slime, so what better way to enjoy their time together...than to make slime! For hours and HOURS, they made slime!! The girls slept over, and when they woke this morning, went straight to playing with all the slime they created. The slime-making birthday party has definitely been a success!

My Favorite Things this week... If you know a slime maker, this soft clay (link here) was the hit of the birthday party. It's been a favorite slime making material of our daughter's, and one of her top choices to give as a birthday gift these days. Another favorite from the birthday party was this cookbook (link here) Tessa received from one of her friends. As soon as she opened it, all the girls oohed and ahhed and said "Ooooohhhhh, I watch her on YouTube!" Kids teach me something every single day - I never knew about this "Nerdy Nummies" baking show! I've been paging through the book this morning and it's definitely fun and super creative. I can see why kids like it!

I'm sharing a COOKBOOK GIVEAWAY this weekend >>> scroll down a bit for more details!

Thank you so much for joining me here each week, for reading the blog, and for following along on social media. I am so grateful for your company.

Have a great weekend!
-Brenda
