Hello! Happy Weekend!

My parents are staying with us this weekend - it's always great to have them visit. They wanted to attend the Minnesota State Fair with our family this year. The girls and I went on Thursday, opening day. And we're heading back today, all of us!

My Favorite Things... It's tomato season. And I hope you've been able to enjoy some of its sweetness! One of my favorite things this time of year is this tomato knife (link HERE). It has a thin serrated edge that slices through tomato skin likes it's butter, without crushing the tomato flesh. And it has a forked tip that makes it easy to grab up thin, delicate slices of tomatoes and move them from the cutting board to a platter. I could also call it my corn knife, because it's my favorite knife for cutting sweet corn kernels off the cob!

CRUMBS: What We Made Recently
