Hey there!
Wow, last week's newsletter about separation anxiety was well received! So much that I decided to write a post about it. (You can find it at the end of this newsletter.) When I shared it on Facebook, it gave a chance for parents to share their fears or successful tips. I absolutely love when you all support each other!
We still have around 6 weeks of summer left, but my co-teacher and I have already met a few times to talk about our daily schedule and our themes. As we were talking about science, we looked at our planner from last year to decide what we will do again this year. I had taken a photo of almost every single activity that was done at our science table. I'm in the middle of putting it all in a blog post and I can't wait until I can share it all with you!
For a long time we had a science shelf. We didn't think we had the space for an actual science center until we were given a small round table. Turns out it fits perfectly in our classroom!
Until my latest science area blog post is published, I thought I'd share these with you (and you can see what our new science table looks like in some of them):
10 Easy Science Activities for Toddlers
Preschool Science Exploring Spiders
Fall Science with Squirrels and Acorns
Preschool Science with Sunflowers
Toddler Science with Sunflowers
10 Preschool Science Experiments
Learning how Seeds Grow
Volcano Science
My readers are always wanting to see what different types of science areas look like. If you have a photo of your science area that you don't mind me publishing in my next science blog post, please email it to me! If there are children in the photos, I prefer not showing their faces for privacy reasons.
Some of my favorite science materials:
Science Paperback Book Series
Science Non-Fiction Readers
Mini Binoculars
Standing Magnifier
I hope you are following me on Instagram! If so, you can see our new science table here.
