A momentous week for older people

At the end of this week, world leaders will gather in New York for the Sustainable Development Summit where governments are expected to adopt and commit to 17 Global Goals. Thanks to the efforts of our campaigners, we are delighted to have age secured in the goals and targets. We are also delighted that HelpAge's Sylvia Beales has been invited to speak at one of the five General Assembly plenaries.

Older people have been campaigning alongside young people around the world to ensure that the Sustainable Development Goals are for people of all ages.
