Dear nature lovers and friends of Quintamar
Do you like to live in harmony with nature and do you long for turquoise blue sea, deserted beaches and crystal clear water? With us in the Algarve you will find this too. You don't have to travel to the Indian Ocean.
If you are not so much the beach type, then we offer you our natural swimming pond in front of the house as an alternative. The plants around the edges clean the water naturally. So we don't need any chemicals to treat the water.
Our four flats have terraces with a view of the sea and the Ilha de Tavira off the mainland and/or an overgrown pergola to the swimming pond.
On request, we provide our guests with fresh fruit and vegetables from our organic farm. This is located 200 meteres away from Quintamar. Casa Pomar, the house that is adjacent to the farm, will not be rented in summer 2023, as we are rebuilding a house next to it.

Quintamar is located in the lagoon landscape of the Ria Formosa Natural Park. The Portuguese call this part of the Algarve between Faro and the Spanish border "Sotavento". It has been largely spared the negative effects of tourism. Here, kilometres of sandy beaches and lonely islands stretch out.
The lagoons and channels are a paradise for birds - and birdwatchers. In the kingdom of shells and plants, visitors can not only observe flamingos, cranes, cormorants and spoonbills, but the European chameleon is also at home here. And many a stork is induced by the richly laid table to save itself the arduous onward flight to Africa.

These houses each have three bedrooms and a view of our natural swimming pond, terrace with sea view, kitchen, a large living room, two wet bathrooms and a separate and shaded outdoor space/pergola for dining/breakfast - suitable for 6 to 8 people.

The apartments each have two bedrooms and face the natural swimming lake pond. The first floor apartment has a terrace with a view of the sea and the pond. The ground floor apartment has a separate outdoor space/pergola with tables and chairs. Both apartments are suitable for up to 5 persons
