HARRY POTTER & THE GOBLET OF FIRE: A Staged Radio Play Parody & Birthday Bash! 7 PM, Sun. July 31 @ The Old Franklin School in Metuchen.

STARRING: Jeff Maschi, Danielle Illario, Jason Jackson, and Michael Jarmus.

WITH: theatrical lighting, costumes, Golden Age radio equipment, fog fx, and, of course, hundreds of sound effects.

PLUS: an extensive display of Potter accoutrement, themed snacks and drinks (alcoholic and non, natch), and a wide array of wizardly wonders/up close magic by Karnevil's resident warlock, Dr. J.R. Whitcomb (cosplaying Sirius Black).

ALSO: Several celebrated HP cosplayers in attendance (including V. Nigel Taylor, the foremost Snape cosplayer in the country). See below (and, yes, that's him NOT Rickman). Come pose for a pic w. the Potions Master!

OR: come in cosplay yourself! Skunk stripe a Cher wig, glue a ping pong ball to an eye patch, or just throw a stripey scarf around your neck. But, above all else, keep calm and carry a wand.
