A quick update on our upcoming conference:

Clipboard01

Torrey Pines Hilton, La Jolla, California - The site of this year's DSC.

For the last few years we've been working to bring more designers to the Decorative Surfaces Conference, 3-5 December this year in San Diego.

This year, the designers have taken over! And they've got some questions for you.

Several materials suppliers have been asking us to create an event that provides more quality time to learn from and network with commercial design specifiers. It turns out that designers are looking for the same kind of opportunities with materials suppliers!

They'd rather attend an event where they can meet and chat with suppliers and get their specific questions answered, over a back-t0-back schedule of presentations.

So we've created a combination of presentations from a rock-star young hospitality designer from LA ... a national distributor of green building products who knows the design community well ... an educator whose students regularly win national design competitions ... two certified designer CEUs on material sustainability ... and, well, you!

Designers are asking us to set up materials displays, with experts to answer questions, so we've created some special sponsorship opportunities for suppliers who interact directly with design specifiers.

Who should attend?
You! We'll have designers, suppliers, distributors and fabricators in the same room. There's no better environment to learn about, and influence, what's happening in the decorative surfacing world. We'll also be inviting distributors and fabricators, bringing the whole value chain into the conversation.

Who should sponsor?
If you sell decorative materials to designers and want to know how they think and hear their questions, that's you as well!

Who else should sponsor?
Upstream suppliers who want to support their customers who sell to designers. We'll need help covering the costs of our design audience, who are invited for free.

We've partnered with suppliers of premium materials for commercial design, and they'll be helping us promote this event. Join us to be part of a new direction for our industry!

Cheers,

Kenn
