Educate. Empower. Invigorate!

Bestow Bike Bliss by Becoming an LCI!

How do we do this? By empowering riders with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to have a comfortable bike ride everywhere they go - from bike lanes to busy streets - at any age and any ability. If this speaks to you, we invite you to help instill this in others by becoming a League Cycling Instructor (LCI). Not only is this a certification recognized nationally by the League of American Bicyclists, but an opportunity to get PAID to bike and share bike bliss with others. Curious? See how you can make a difference for beginner bicyclists and beyond by clicking here.

Keiki Learn to Ride

We restarted our Keiki Learn to Ride in January. Six out of eight kids who participated learned to ride a bike, the other two showed significant improvement. We will be holding Keiki Learn to ride once a month for kids 5 to 16 years old. We are currently limiting each session to 10 participants, but hope to expand in the future. Keiki Learn to Ride will be held Sundays 2/26/23, 3/26/23 and 4/23/23 from 7:30-9:30am at McCully District Park. Sign up today at HBL.org/keikilearntoride/ or contact Andrew@HBL.org for more information.

Annual Dinner Benefiting BikeEd

So far, we've raised $9,000 out of our $20,000 fundraising goal for a BikeEd Truck.
Silent Auction and Pledge Drive combined, we've reached 45% of our $20,000 goal. But we still need your help. You can still contribute to this fundraiser for BikeEd by either bidding on HBL's Online Silent Auction or donating to our Pledge Drive. Show your love and help support HBL's BikeEd program to make sure every 4th grader on O‘ahu gets the joy of bicycling brought to their school!
