What do I want this year to look like? What do I need to change, and how should I go about it?

(This newsletter contains affiliate links).

These are the questions I've been asking myself. To be honest, 2014 was a bit rough. There were lots of good things that happened, and I'm so grateful for many things, but there was a lot of stress as well. Health issues in our extended families, and concern for relatives who went through horrible life changes definitely colored my day to day life.

Unfortunately, I got off track a little bit with making healthy choices and taking care of myself. I need to make a few changes to get myself and my househod back to where I want to be.

The good news is, we can always start fresh! I can make better choices tomorrow, and next week, and next month. I just have to have the motivation and the tools to do so. I've had the resources in the Ultimate Healthy Living Bundle for a few months now, and I just want to take a minute to highlight the resources that I personally have found helpful, and that I will be using to get back on a healthy, less stressed out path in 2015.

Here we go!

Simply-Salads-by-Season

One goal I have is to eat more salads. I LOVE the variety of salads that are in this book!

Simply Salads By Season contains:

28 Dressings & Condiments - Simple. Easy. Super tasty. With these recipes for homemade dressings and condiments, your taste buds will never be bored again.

99 Pages of Salad Recipes - You’ll never have to open a bag of pre-mixed salad greens again. Eat adventurously!

Smoothie-Secrets-Revealed

I am LOVING this book. One of my resolutions is to drink more smoothies. This book has 30 smoothie recipes and TONS of information on the health benefits of each ingredient.

Along with her 30 healing whole foods smoothie recipes, Elyse lays the foundation for her sustainable and nourishing philosophy: an anti-inflammatory, gluten free, organic and fresh eating lifestyle that emphasizes detoxing on the daily with whole real foods, herbs, homemade nut and seed milks, fermented foods and of course succulent smoothies!

42-Simple-and-Healthy-Dinners

I admit that when I am stressed, I tend to make something quick and easy for dinner, but maybe not too healthy - like pizza or macaraoni and cheese. One of my resolutions is to plan ahead a bit better and have more quick and healthy meal recipes in my arsenal.

42 Simple & Healthy Dinners is a collection of nourishing, real food recipes that are easy to prepare, suitable for the whole family, and friendly to your waistline.

I really like the recipes in this cookbook. I'm looking forward to trying the slow cooker Chickpea Curry and the Honey Chicken and Cauliflower Rice.

Crazy-for-Kale

I really want to incorporate more greens into my diet. Specifically, I want to eat more kale. I just am not that into kale, although I KNOW that it's good for me! :)

Crazy for Kale offers 40 wholesome recipes that make the most of kale in everything from salads to main dishes to snacks and sweet treats.

Flavorful yet approachable, all of the recipes in Crazy for Kale are gluten-free, dairy-free, soy-free, and refined sugar-free with many grain-free and vegan options. Here’s a little taste of what you’ll find inside:

Tropical Asian Fusion Salad
Chocolate Buckwheat Brownies (yes, brownies!)
Pistachio Banana Ice Cream (yes, ice cream!)
33 Paleo/grain-free recipes
31 vegan or optionally vegan recipes

42-Days-to-Fit

I need a simple plan for exercise. I really want to be more active on 2015, and I have been reading 42 Days to Fit, and really like how simple this plan is to implement.

42 Days to Fit is a realistic diet and exercise challenge to help you get fit and stay fit for life! The six-week challenge eases you – week-by-week – into a healthier lifestyle by introducing new healthy habits and exercises each week.

What You’ll See in 42 Days to Fit:

Each week, you’ll see two challenges. One is a food challenge with (again) realistic dietary changes that focus on not only eliminating junk foods, but just as importantly, replacing those foods with healthier choices. The other challenge is an exercise plan that is custom-written by Real Fit Moms, specifically for mothers.

You’ll also see:
