St. John's Gives Back

What do Eden Children’s Village in Zimbabwe, Sister2Sister International Outreach Ministry, Habitat for Humanity, Cities With Dwellings, Salvation Army, Salem Assisted Living and Trinity Glen Retirement Community have in common? They all have St. John’s Lutheran School students working with them as part of the school’s extensive community service and outreach programming.

Collecting items and raising funds to support women and children in Africa, assisting the elderly at the Dixie Classic Fair, and helping the homeless are just a few of the current SJLS service efforts that are designed to help students engage in the world around them.
