Congregational Meeting ~ Sunday After Worship

"There is a time for everything, and a season for every
activity under the heavens." Ecclesiastes 3:1

Now is a season for planning here at Common Ground Church Community, so please stay after Worship for a meeting this week. We invite everyone to help us look toward the future of our church home. Whether you have been a member or a friend to CGCC, here weekly or occasionally, you are invited to stay and be part of the planning as we move forward and seek the will of the Lord. We need each and every one of you! Come grow with us!

Youth Group

For youth in 5th grade & up

Last Sunday, we enjoyed Christmas music, fellowship, and Christmas decorating. Thank you to all who were able to come and make the church merry and bright!

This Sunday we will be heading out of the church building to go to Salem, where we will be spreading the Christmas spirit. Rachel and Jen will be driving the group to some shopping areas to commit Random Acts of Christmas Kindness. This is a fun service project that will require most of our 90 minutes, so we plan to leave as close to 6pm as possible and return by 7:30. It would be a huge help if you could RSVP for your child by calling/texting/emailing Jen so we can plan accordingly.
Snack: Audrey & Nathan Shannon

Christmas project info below in OUTREACH and MISSION OPPORTUNITIES section.

We invite all the youth to join us for fun, fellowship, and learning this year,
most Sunday evenings from 6-7:30pm.

Shopping at White House

This week began with decorating at Whispering Pines, delivering raffle baskets to Friendsgiving winners, and shopping at White House Fruit Farm. Monday was definitely a great day out in the community. We spent time this week getting ready for this weekend's Christmas markets by making lots of jam. We also enjoyed decorating the outside of the property to make it look festive when you arrive at Common Ground. Take a look around to see all that we have accomplished!

Tuesday's lunch was herb chicken, homemade rolls, and glazed carrots. It was another fine dining experience right here in North Lima!

Thank you to all who helped in any way to make this a fun and successful event!
You are appreciated!

For I was hungry and you gave me food;
I was thirsty and you gave me a drink;
I was a stranger and you took me in;
I was naked and you clothed me;
I was sick and you visited me.
I was in prison and you came to me.

.....When you did it to one of the least of these my brothers and sisters,
you were doing it to me.

Matthew 25: 35-36, 40
