Dear Friends & Partners,

Last week, in a committee meeting regarding the expansion of Medical Aid in Dying (MAiD), 7 Members of Parliament, consciously voted in favour of infanticide, MAiD for ill and disabled infants, up to the age of one year.

This came in response to a motion made by MP Rosemarie Falk asking the committee to denounce the suggestion made by the Quebec College of Physicians to include infanticide in the March 2023 MAiD expansions.

Right now it is critical to send emails and letters to the MPs who voted against the motion, to tell them it is not okay to end the lives of innocent children.

The following Liberal, NDP and Bloc members voted against this motion, and in turn in favour of infanticide.

MAiD Expansion Interview with Nicole Scheidl and Alex Schadenberg

This week on Faytene.TV, Faytene sat down with Nicole Scheidl of Canadian Physicians for Life and Alex Schadenberg of the Euthanasia Prevention Coalition to discuss how you can help save the lives of Canadians who are struggling to survive the darkest seasons of life.

There are so many stories coming forward about Canadians being offered and feeling coerced towards receiving MAiD. It is crucial that those who are against it use their voice to engage in critical times like this.

TEMPLATE LETTER FOR THESE MEMBERS OF PARLIAMENT

Here is a template email you could use, regarding the motion on infanticide.

Tip: The more you tailor this to your own words, the greater impact it will have.

"Dear Member of Parliament,_

_Thank you for your service to the nation as an elected official, serving your riding and as a member of the Standing Committee on Human Resources, Skills and Social Development and the Status of Persons with Disabilities. I honour your commitment to your work. _

_As a member of the Standing Committee mentioned above, you play a crucial role in protecting some of the most vulnerable people in this nation, and with that comes great responsibility. I was disheartened to see your vote against the motion of MP Rosemarie Falk on November 16th, regarding denouncing the Quebec College of Physicians' suggestion to introduce infanticide, to the new Medical Aid in Dying legislation. This vote signalled your support for ending the lives of human being unable to speak for themself and make this conscious choice on their own. I am saddened by the low regard for life, especially that of disabled Canadians shown through this action. _
