The Recipe Box

Crispy Baked Chicken Wings

5 pounds chicken wings, tips removed, drumettes and flats separated
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon kosher salt
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

Preheat oven to 400°F. Set a wire rack inside each of 2 large rimmed baking sheets. Place all ingredients in a large bowl; toss to coat. Divide wings between prepared racks and spread out in a single layer.

Bake wings until cooked through and skin is crispy, 45–50 minutes.

Wings are great when Organicville Teriyaki Sauce or Organic Harvest Hot Pepper Sauce is used for a glaze. Simply drizzle sauce over cooked wings.

Down on the Farm

Welcome our latest arrival to the beef herd. Click on the picture to go to our Facebook page and see James’s Video of the new calf.

A friend from the big city had an interesting observation at dinner as he was being served milk from a glass pitcher. He had been given the opportunity to milk one of our cows and considered how amazing it is that a cow eats grass and turns it into milk…milk that comes from a living animal and not a plastic carton. It was something totally beyond anything he had experienced or ever considered.
