Book now for our February show...

Fri 12th - Sat 20th Feb at 7.45pm
(No show Sunday 14th)

It’s raining. A man screams. A fish falls from the sky. Gabriel York is awaiting the arrival of his grown son whom he hasn’t seen since he was seven...

When the Rain Stops Falling charts a legacy of betrayal, mysterious disappearances (and fish soup) in a family saga spanning eighty years and two continents. The sins of the father are visited on the son, as secrets and lies send one young man across the hemispheres in search of answers, whilst a worldwide environmental disaster unfolds.

Don't miss this superb piece of tightly-wrought drama!

Also now booking for...

Fri 11th - Sat 19th March at 7.45pm (No show Sunday 13th)

Hardy's much-loved classic takes place in the late 19th century in the Wessex countryside. Mark Healy, who adapted this play from the original novel, describes it as being about ‘love and loss, desire and obsession and ultimately, murder and marriage.’

With live and authentic folk music helping to create atmosphere and mood, you're in for a real treat!

Fri 8th - Sat 16th April at 7.45pm
(No show Sunday 10th)

Psychotic IRA terrorist Mad Padraic only cares about one thing more than Irish independence and that’s his beloved cat, Wee Thomas. So when Padraic learns that Wee Thomas has been killed, someone’s going to pay. And when a group of hitmen arrive to assassinate Padraic, the body count goes into overdrive…

Martin McDonagh’s brilliantly black comedy serves up gore, guns and gags in generous portions. Don't miss one of the 21st century’s greatest, most improbable comedies and a merciless satire on the ultimate futility of terrorism.

WARNING: contains very strong language and scenes of a violent nature

Thurs 21st - Sun 24th April at 7.45 (in the Bar)

When 18 year-old Danny is fatally stabbed by Emma, his family struggles to find meaning and forgiveness. His mother’s need to understand this random killing brings her face to face with his killer, taking her down a 'long road' and forcing the rest of her family to confront their own demons and the senselessness of their loss.
A moving and often very funny piece of theatre that will touch each and every one of us.

Hever Castle Festival Theatre: Thu 28 July – Sat 30 July (plus matinée performance on Fri 29 July)

Old Times

by Harold Pinter
Directed by Colleen Batson
Performance dates: 16th – 19th June

Anna visits her old friends, Deeley and Kate at a farmhouse on the English seaside, seemingly to reminisce about their adventures in London 20 years ago. But memory plays false as the old friends compete for attention, their recollections overlapping and creating confusion about the truth: “There are things I remember which may never have happened but, as I recall them, so they take place.”

'Old Times' marks the return of Pinter to the BLT stage and the welcome debut of Colleen Batson as a director at BLT. Full details here
