NGO networks operate in dynamic, complex and open environments in which changing responsibility flows from and around autonomous members.

The Global Environment Facility (GEF) is one of the largest public funders of environmental improvement projects in the world. A network of environmental NGOs was organized in 1995 to influence the functions within the multilateral partnership. Recently the Independent Evaluation Office (IEO) of the GEF undertook an Evaluation of the GEF CSO Network to assess the extent to which the network has met its strategic objectives. Please join the IEO of the GEF for a presentation of the evaluation results as well as the unique mix of network evaluation methods and tools used in the study.

Las redes de ONG funcionan en entornos dinámicos, complejos y abiertos en los que la responsabilidad cambiante proviene de y alrededor de los miembros autónomos.

El Fondo para el Medio Ambiente Mundial (FMAM) es uno de los mayores financiadores públicos de proyectos de mejoras ambientales en el mundo. En 1995 se organizó una red de ONGs ambientales para influir en las funciones de la asociación multilateral. Recientemente, la Oficina de Evaluación Independiente (OEI) del FMAM emprendió una Evaluación de la Red de Organizaciones de la Sociedad Civil del FMAM para evaluar en qué medida la red ha cumplido sus objetivos estratégicos y cómo las características de la Red están contribuyendo a su capacidad para alcanzar sus objetivos.
