PRIZE DONATIONS NEEDED!

Thank you for your generous donation to Summer Sailstice in the past. It's folks like you that help us to encourage sailors to get out on the water and celebrate Summer Sailstice every year.

But seriously ... you're a business or an organization and want to know:
"What's in it for us?"

Good question!
Besides the obvious goodwill, here's a few other reasons:

▪ Your business and donation will be featured on the Prizes page on our website with a live link to your website. These donations shuffle so prizes appear in a different order with every visit.
▪ Supporting the growth of sailing supports the growth of your business.
▪ We post live links to the Prizes page in our weekly newsletter that goes to 20,000 emails and on our active Facebook group to encourage folks to check out the new donations as they are added.
▪ Over 75 prizes were awarded in 2023. Click HERE and scroll down to see all the great past offerings, including yours! The winners surely loved their gifts and shared the generosity with their friends.
▪ We award prizes every week as well as during the Summer Sailstice weekend (June 21-23) and then keep the promoting going with awards for Best Photo, Best Video and Restore an Old Boat the week after. The website also stays up all year so even after the wonderful weekend of sailing, folks will continue to visit to see the prize winners and view the pictures and videos.

But wait! There's more!

You can also participate in this international Sailor's Holiday by hosting a Public Event!

Encourage the public to participate, like Murray Yacht Sales on Lake Pontchartrain.

Or offer tickets for sale on a day-cruise like the brigantine Matthew Turner. Charter companies such as Blue Sky Sailing Club in Ontario, Canada can also post and promote opportunities to get folks out sailing.

How about a special rate for docking during Summer Sailstice like Pier 39 is offering?
