Announcement: StemJournal

Stem cells are featured in HD research in two articles in this JHD issue: "Adipogenic Differentiation of Bone Marrow-Derived Mesenchymal Stem Cells in Pig Transgenic Model Expressing Human Mutant Huntingtin" by Smatlikova, et al.; and "Rac1 Activity Is Modulated by Huntingtin and Dysregulated in Models of Huntington’s Disease" by Tousley, et al. With this in mind, we introduce a new journal from the publisher of JHD.

StemJournal is an open access forum for innovative scientific contributions from the many fields of research on stem cells. The launch of this new peer-reviewed journal for the stem cell community has an ultimate aim: to keep pace with developments in this burgeoning field and to lower the barrier to publishing truly integrative biomedical research on stem cells. Submissions are now welcome via the journal's website: stemjnl.org.
