For Your Prayers

prayer12

It encourages us deeply to know that you are praying for us. We look forward to sharing with you how God answers. Here is our latest update.

Please use the buttons at the top of our newsletter to share with your network(s) among the saints of God to increase our prayer support.

   •    Give THANKS for the opportunity provided at Christmas and Epiphanytide to preach the gospel. ASK that the guests to All Soul’s worship will have their eyes opened to Christ’s glory and receive him as their Savior and Lord.

   •    Give THANKS for a good annual meeting on 15 January with all households in attendance, a fellowship supper and the officers elected, vestry members and Diocesan Synod delegates all for the first time. Give THANKS for our seasoned Church Warden who was reelected to another term to oversee the transition

   •    Please PRAY for our Rector’s as he prepares two addresses for the 2023 Banner of Truth East Coast Ministers Conference in Elizabethtown PA 30 May – 1 June. The conference theme is “I Am Not Ashamed of the Gospel”. His addresses are an exposition of Psalm 71 entitled, ‘The Gospel Minister’s Solace,” and ‘The Gospel Minister’s Hope.”

   •    Please continue to PRAY for God’s guidance as our Vestry continues to plan its mission in light of our Rector’s retirement at the end of 2023. The Diocese and parish have taken further attorney advice that an R-1 is not possible due to the low stipend figure. Discussion now centers on Andrew’s Canadian citizenship and special allowance given to them to stay in the USA for long periods. Pray for Andrew, his wife and baby daughter in Ontario that the bishop hopes to send to us.
