Check Out Our NEW Dash Robot S.T.E.A.M. Kits!

We're excited to introduce our new Dash Robot S.T.E.A.M. Kits, available for check-out at all our libraries and bookmobiles starting Wednesday, February 6! These adorable little bots are cool to simply drive around, but they’re also great because kids can learn how to code while directing Dash Robot to perform tasks. A mobile device is required, but not provided. Check out our "Getting Started" instructions for compatible devices. This S.T.E.A.M. Kit is recommended for ages 6 and older.

Like the Launchpads, the S.T.E.A.M Kits can be borrowed for one week with no renewals. (Bookmobile patrons will get a four-week check-out.) You can check out one per library card. Also, be on the lookout for STEAM Kits: Cubelets coming to your library soon!

Book Rover Set to Hit the Road Soon

This month, the Book Rover will make its maiden voyage into the community! We’re loading up this specially built cargo van with books and library materials to take to local children who might not be able to come to the library. The Book Rover allows staff to easily bring carts full of books to community locations using a handy electric lift at the back of the van. You’ll recognize the Book Rover by its fun exterior design. Thanks to everyone in the community who donated to make the Book Rover a reality!
