Zhenya Strigalev's STAN-DUN-DUN

Stan-Dun-Dun is a new international project led by Zhenya Strigalev following his previous highly acclaimed projects Smiling Organizm and Never Group. The tour will be promoting new material from his new album which is due to release early 2018. The group includes bass guitar phenomenon from Mauritius, Linley Marthe (Joe Zawinul, Chris Potter, Trilok Gurtu), Belgian drums virtuoso, Stéphane Galland (Joe Zawinul, Aka Moon, Zap Mama) or Justin Faulkner (Branford Marsalis) and extraordinary Chilean based guitarist Federico Dannemann.

Zhenya is making his name on the international jazz scene with exciting and unpredictable performances. He’s worked with some of today’s most forward thinking musicians including (Eric Harland, Ambrose Akinmusire, Chris "Daddy" Dave, Alex Sipiagin, William Parker, Aaron Parks, Joseph "Foley" McCreary from Miles Davis fame, Larry Grenadier...) and appeared at many prestigious jazz festivals and concert venues, performing extensively in Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Sweden, Russia, Czech Republic, Austria, Britain, Switzerland, Peru, Chile...In London, he played in the leading jazz venues including regular appearances at London Jazz Festival and headlining at Ronnie Scotts with his original projects.
