WHITE WHITE Young Soon Kim Dance Company has been an institution in the New York City dance scene for over 20 years. While we produce and present our original dance/theater productions every year, we are also known for our three annual festivals where we present the work of about two hundred emerging and mid-career companies on different stages throughout Manhattan and Brooklyn.
2018 SoloDuo Dance Festival celebrates the unique art of the solo and duet with an eye towards creating new opportunities for both fledging and more experienced choreographers at Dixon Place, a setting nestled in the heart of the Downtown scene, located at the junction of the Lower East Side and East Village.
We would very much appreciate your attendance and support of young and rising dancemakers. Of course, it will be vital to boost exposure for our company’s mission and for these outstanding groups, many of whom have made great sacrifices to travel to New York for the opportunity to present their work to the vital NYC dance audiences.
