SamSarah Designs has announced along with Norden Crafts a new Halloween Mystery Sampler for 2014 called "SOMETHING WICKED". Join us for a summer of mystery stitching ! SamSarah has designed a Halloween sampler that will be revealed in 3 wicked parts. Your favorite Halloween themes are all in this design.....pumpkins, owl, blackbird, sunflowers, moon, stars, and more.......
Main Design Details
There are 29 skeins of Weeks Dye Works needed to complete the main design and the mystery bonus piece also included in the club. That’s 29 skeins for 2 pieces. There are several multiples in this piece, so we recommend getting the floss bundle to ensure same dye lots throughout the piece.
The fabric being used is a 32ct Zweigart Belfast Petit Point Natural with Brown Polka Dots (see photo below). The design size for the main piece is 119w x 186h which is 7 3/8”w x 11 5/8”h when stitched on 32ct linen.
There is also a cute embellishment pack to go with this series.
Bonus Pattern Details
There will be a bonus piece that measures 50 x 153 and can be stitched horizontally or vertically. The fabric cut size for the bonus mystery is 9x16. The skeins of Weeks Dye Works floss needed to complete this design are included in the floss bundles we are offering. The thread pack which includes 29 skeins will give you enough thread to complete both the main design and the bonus mystery piece. The fabric used for the Bonus Mystery is Weeks Dye Works 30ct Peoria Purple (see photo below)
ADDED 6-23-14: we will offer some alternate fabrics for aida lovers. 14ct raw/natural linen aida. This is a plain fabric...there will be NO dots on it like the fabric called for in the chart. It is not made in 14ct with dots. AND a 16ct lilac aida option for the bonus pattern. Please note when subbing these fabrics your design size will change therefore you may run short on floss in the bundles as the floss was figured for 32ct. You can always order more floss later is you need it. These are the best aida equivalents we could come up with for this series. So your sampler will take on a slightly different look by using these fabrics. The 16ct lilac aida is a bit darker than the original called for fabric
The Dates
The first release is scheduled to ship on August 1st to us, and the remaining patterns will be released from Norden Crafts on September 1st, and October 1st. We should have the 1st release on Aug 2nd or 4th...depending on when they ship. Once they ship to us, we have it the next day.
How It Works
SIGN UP for our Auto Ship program and you will receive all items as they are released. This is what you will receive on each release (depending on what you sign up for of course):
August 1st - 1st chart release by SamSarah, 29 skeins of Weeks Dye Works floss, yardage of 32ct Belfast Petit Point Natural with Brown polka dots, Weeks Dye Works 30ct Peoria Purple linen for the bonus chart and the cute little embellishment pack.
September 1st - 2nd chart release by SamSarah
October 1st - 3rd and final chart release bySamSarah

DEADLINE
We have to have our order in to Norden Crafts by July 15th, so they have time to compile all of their orders from shops and make sure they have enough supplies on order for all shops. So PLEASE sign up now if you would like to be part of this. We will still be taking sign-ups after July 15th, but the earlier you sign up, the easier it makes it for everyone.

PAYMENT - SHIPPING - SIGN UP
There is NO payment due now. We will bill out the first release around July 25th....which is prox 1 week before we should have these in our hot little hands.
We ship Internationally as well, so we welcome ALL International customers to join us in this series as well. We calculate shipping on all orders so you will get fair shipping charges from us. The 1st release will be more due to the fabrics and floss bundles (if you order those) then the 2nd and 3rd releases will be significantly lower on shipping charges.

GLOW-IN-THE-DARK Fabric...we recently got in our shipment of Glow-In-The-Dark fabric.
This fabric is white in the daylight......when it is in the dark it will start to glow.
We had to test it out when we got in our shipment. We left it out in the light a bit after unpacking it from the box....then went into a totally dark room...and VOILA...it started to glow. It was not as green as the picture shown but we did not stand there forever and look at it. We just saw the initial glow and that was enough for us to know that it does GLOW !
For those that pre-ordered this from us, most of it mailed out on Saturday 6-22-14. The balance will mail out on Monday or Tuesday on our next postal run (whichever day we go). After filling all pre-orders we will still have some of this in stock in many counts/styles. So if you would like to try out this new fabric.....they are all listed on our site now for sale.
