Christmas Spirits on the Beltline

Join us on the Beltline Spur at the end of Elizabeth Street in Inman Park as we walk, pausing to reflect on various art installations. This will be a prayer/meditation walk focusing on "joy and peace" for ourselves and our communities. We will then walk to Hampton + Hudson Community Bar and Restaurant for a debrief over appetizers and cocktails. The first 30 people (over the age of 21) to show up will receive a token for a free cocktail. Additional food and beverages will be available for purchase.

This event is sponsored by Grace UMC Atlanta, Inman Park UMC, and Neighborhood Church. For more details, contact Evan McElreath at evanmcelreath@me.com.

world prayer

Ecumenical Prayer Cycle

As a way to remember our connection with Christians around the globe, we will start using a great prayer tool: the Ecumenical Prayer Cycle. Each week of the year a number of countries are highlighted to lift up in prayer. There are also prayers written by Christians in those countries that you can use. By following the cycle throughout the year, you would pray your way around the globe. We will start listing the different countries each week in our prayer list.

For the week of December 3 pray for: Myanmar, Thailand

To find out more and to find links to the prayers from countries around the world click here.
