Gifted Seminar (09/28): When is Acceleration the best decision?
PVSchools Gifted Education Department and the United Parent Council will host When is Acceleration the Best Decision on September 28th from 6-7:30 p.m. in the Governing Board Room at the District Administrative Center.
In this gifted seminar presented by Dr. Kimberly Lansdowne, a professor at Arizona State University, parents will learn:
▪ If acceleration is right for gifted students ▪ About resources available to help parents and teachers make this decision ▪ How to advocate for accelerated learning opportunities
Alumni of Desert Cove have gone on to receive countless prestigious awards and recognition, including Young Women of Distinction (2 alumni) several Girl Scout Gold Award recipients and accompanying scholarships for college.
Shea's Student Council needs your support and donations. The Military Family Support Group is in need of items to send care packages to our troops overseas.

How to Re-Enroll for the Fry’s Community Rewards Program
1. Go to www.FrysFood.com
2. Click on ‘Sign-In’ (Or 'Register' if you don't have an account)
3. Enter your email and password, click on ‘sign in’.
4. Click on your name (top right hand corner), under ‘Account Summary’ scroll down to “Community Rewards”.
5. Click on ‘Edit’ under Community Rewards.
6. Under Find Your Organization: Enter 80078 and click 'Search'
7. Under ‘Select Your Organization’, click on the circle next to Desert Cove PTO
8. Click on ‘Enroll’
o If you have re-enrolled correctly, you should see a green box with ‘Your enrollment in the Community Rewards Program has been updated. Thank you for participating!’ You will also see the information listed under ‘Community Rewards’ on your Account Summary page.
