my new book "France: Inspiration du Jour" (chronicle books) was released today ! the book is a peek inside my actual sketchbooks during sojourns in france: a compilation of sketches, photos, and musings. you will learn what inspires and amuses me. i never intended for anyone to ever look through my sketchbooks (let alone publish them) so it's kind of a funny feeling . . . but a good exercise and lesson in overcoming my shyness.
