July 2018 Captain Update

Summer is in full swing here in the Carolinas. We are taking advantage of mountain hikes and early morning runs to keep as cool as possible. Although we are still nine months away from race day, we are constantly working on ways to enhance the 2019 Ville to Ville Craft Brew Relay for our runners!

Highland Brewing Company

We are excited that Highland will be sponsoring our Asheville Welcome Reception on Friday night, April 12th and will once again be our starting line. Make sure your team plans to attend the Friday night event!

2019 Race Theme

Who rocks? You do! Our theme for our 2019 race is "Rock On!" Pay tribute to your favorite band or musician by decking out your vehicle, your team shirts and your costumes for race day. You know there will be a nice prize for the winning team!

Night Flight - 4.5 Mile Race - July 28

Everyone's favorite twilight race is back for its fifth year, and it's better than ever! The 4.5-mile East Asheville course will take runners through the Asheville Golf Course, through the Beverly Hills Asheville neighborhood (where you will be showered with cheers from the residents) and past the WNC Nature Center before finishing back at Highland Brewing Company. This year's post-race party and awards ceremony will be in the Event Center. Glow swag will be provided, dressing up is always encouraged, and there will be a beer waiting for you at the finish line! 100% of race proceeds go to the Asheville Parks & Greenways Foundation.
