Prayer needs sent by early Monday morning will be included in the weekly Joys & Concerns email. We are also glad to send out prayer requests and praise reports anytime throughout the week! | Encouragement Thank you to Marcia Kreps for sharing and Darla Smith for writing these weekly bits of encouragement. "I pray you are all doing good this week. No matter the circumstance – God is good! Snow, snow, and more snow here in Northeast Ohio. The freeze is on. Snow does not seem to bother me too much, just do not like driving when there is ice. I do love we have the four seasons here in Ohio. Sometimes we have all in the same week! There have been some spectacular sunrises/sunsets here. The colors have been so vibrant. God sure does paint us gorgeous pictures. We just must stop in our busy day and take it all in. We are so blessed." "The Word for this week God woke me up in the middle of the night and gave to me; “disappointment.” I was hoping for a happy word this week – but that is me. God wanted us to hear this. In our lifetime we all experience “disappointment” at some time or another. Sometimes it can come from our family, our job, our church, our friends, or even a stranger. “Disappointment” comes in all shapes and sizes, and we never know when it will come. It can strengthen us or sometimes will destroy us if we let it. This is for us all – we will not be destroyed – we will be strengthened In Jesus Name. We are more than conquerors! Remember this more than anything else – There is NO “disappointment” in God. He will never let us down. There is NO “disappointment” in the Holy Spirit. He will always be our guide – if we let Him. Get ready and round up your containers (like scripture says below) – Our victory is now! Receive His Hope and Glory!" There’s more to come: We continue to shout our praise even when we’re hemmed in with troubles, because we know how troubles can develop passionate patience in us, and how that patience in turn forges the tempered steel of virtue, keeping us alert for whatever God will do next. In alert expectancy such as this, we’re never left feeling shortchanged. Quite the contrary - we can’t round up enough containers to hold everything God generously pours into our lives through the Holy Spirit! ~ Romans 5:3-5 (MSG) | February Worship ~ Online & In-Person Pastor Mike Hileman ~ Sundays at 11:00am. We're excited to welcome you to Worship, in church and online! | www.goodnessgrows4all.org Our Mission Statement: To cultivate personal, social, and community growth through gardening, education, and opportunity for people of all abilities. ~~~ | News of the Week After being closed due to weather last Thursday and Friday, GG was glad to be back at work this week! We have been busy shoveling snow and ice, here and at the home of one of our very favorite neighbors...who gave us a delicious treat in return. Yum and big thanks!! We also worked on more cleaning of the broken window glass. Much appreciation goes out to all who helped do the huge first round of cleaning on Sunday! We are very thankful for all of you! On Tuesday, we had an opportunity for a little field trip to Salem, so rare in these pandemic days. We shopped for the church's tea, ate lunch at Pizza Hut, and even visited Pastor Mike's house. (Where they met the family dog and failed to take photos for us to enjoy!) Setting up for church events is one of the tasks that we undertake. The crew enjoyed making things pretty and ready to go for this Saturday's tea party. Today we are even doing some tea party baking as well as making up special tea bags from GG grown herbs. We hope all the ladies have a great time at this event! | Pallets Needed Do you have any pallets you need to rehome? Do you know of any business that might be willing to give away pallets for free?
