Yesterday morning I set the alarm for 4.30am and Ringo was bright and breezy waiting in the reception of my hotel. Paggi (morning) I say through bleary eyes. And we set off through Ubud to our warehouse in Yellow Coconut Village in the outskirts. The quietest I have seen this town, just street cleaners, temple guys and the odd monkey. The air is pleasingly fresh and cool.
The empty 40ft container arrived in the night (by ship and truck from Surabaya) and only just fits on our forefront with inches to spare. Our team is already here and have made a start. They have rigged up a strip light inside the container so we can see and the first few cartons are been loaded.
Ketut is Ringo's assistant and is amazing she has everything under control all 765 cartons to be loaded are already labelled and stacked ready in various parts of the warehouse and she has a list. Ringo has calculated the cubic measure of each carton in a spreadsheet so in theory our packing list should fit in this container.
