What an incredible weekend!! Not only did we get to come together as the body of Christ, but we also got to witness three baptisms this weekend! Congratulations to Melanie, Betty, and Rob! It is always a blessing to see how God is working in and through the people of our church.

This week Pastor Rusty began a new series, “When Life Falls Apart Trust Jesus”. If you have ever been through one of the storms of life, you know how scary and confusing it can be; maybe you have even wondered if Jesus is sleeping through your storm as he did in our passage today. The truth is, just as Jesus was with the disciples in their storm, he is with you in yours as well. So cast out your fear and put your faith in the One who calms the storms. Please also be in prayer for our church staff, church, and members of our community as COVID cases are on the rise again. We have several of our staff currently out with COVID, all are doing well but they would love prayers for a speedy recovery.

On a more personal note, please be in prayer for my family. This week my Grandmother was hospitalized and later placed in the ICU with what they believe are some kidney issues. I also have several extended family members battling through COVID. I appreciate you lifting up my family in prayer, as I know we serve a God who hears us.

I am reminded daily how blessed I am to serve Christ with this church family, there is truly no other church like ours!
