Brian Durham, ICCB Executive Director

Community colleges strive to foster an environment of equity and inclusion. This new publication, in partnership with the Office of Community College Research and Leadership at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, is one of our efforts to support this work. We hope that by providing this resource, we can help raise the profile of the successful efforts to meet diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) challenges, incentivize others to adopt successful DEI practices, and provide a voice to students, faculty, staff, and institutions as they confront systemic and structural barriers across their campuses and in their communities.

Tracking Two-Year College Outcomes: Comparing National Student Clearinghouse and Illinois Community College Board as Sources of Two-Year College Data

This technical paper compares National Student Clearinghouse data with two-year college data obtained through the Illinois Longitudinal Data System, and summarizes key insights for users of these data.
