Crematorium visit

Thank you to Andy Punchard for a very informative evening at Braddicks & Sherborne where we found out about various aspects of the undertaker's profession.

Following on from this, Andy is offering to organise a visit to Barnstaple Crematorium to find out more about how it operates. A number of people are already interested and if you would like to come along, whether to allay anxieties or just out of interest, please reply to this email so we can arrange a date.

Exporting for all businesses – including tourism

export4growth.co.uk is an export programme currently open to companies in North Devon which can provide free market research, digital marketing, Intellectual Property and other assistance as well as an opportunity to access grant funding to match fund a company’s own investment in overseas marketing and other activities.

The programme runs until October 2018 with two remaining funding rounds, one that is open now until the end of June and the other which opens at the end of November.

The Department of International Trade is keen to promote the programme to attract more, and in particular, smaller companies who previously have not exported as well as small current exporters who could grow their exports into new markets. The programme can also assist tourism businesses.
