Street Skills Webinar 2021

Registration is open now for AAMPO's next Street Skills class.

Street Skills is a free hour-long class for adults and mature teens who want improve their confidence and safety when biking. This online version of our popular class will cover important street riding information in a quick, off-bike/scooter presentation. Class participants will also receive a free bike helmet and bike light set following the class.

The next class will be held online at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 13, 2021. Participants will need to schedule a time to pick up their helmet and light set from the MPO office.

If you have ever dreamed of taking a bike ride or hike from San Antonio to Austin, tune in Wednesday, March 17 for AAMPO's Virtual Walk & Bike Night.

AAMPO's Bicycle and Pedestrian Mobility Committees host a conversation on how the Cities of San Antonio, New Braunfels and others are working together with non-profit organizations, ActivateSA and The Great Springs Project, to provide safer active transportation connections within our communities and to one day create a network of trails that will connect San Antonio to Austin.

The Alamo Area MPO has four regular meetings that occur each month. All our meetings are open to the public. Agendas for our meetings are posted on our website, www.alamoareampo.org.

Until further notice, MPO meetings will be online to follow physical distancing recommendations. Access information will be posted on our online meeting page.

The next Technical Advisory Committee will be held online on March 5, 2021, at 1:30 p.m.

The next Bicycle Mobility Advisory Committee and Pedestrian Mobility Advisory Committee will be a Walk & Bike Night, held online on Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at 6 p.m.

The next Transportation Policy Board will be held online on Monday, March 22, 2021, at 1:30 p.m.
