On the evening of December 16th, many local residents gathered together to Ojai's City Hall to voice their support for Tiny Homes. The City of Ojai has been discussing Second Dwelling Units as a possible solution to the affordable housing crisis in Ojai.

Thanks to so many of you who came out! Our collective effort helped bring the discussion of tiny houses to the table. As a result, another meeting will be held to specifically address Tiny Homes to become part of the Second Dwelling Unit ordinance. Nice work everyone!... Special thanks to Planning Commissioner Chester Jagiello for being a passionate advocate, and for taking this concept to the next level with the City.

NEW TINY HOUSE DESIGN IS COMPLETE! We're excited to announce the completion of our latest tiny house design! You may have heard about Anna and Kevin's Tiny Home: built on a 24' trailer with two separate offices (yes two!), uniquely designed stairs, and luxurious shower.

After four months of construction, and then successfully registering with the DMV (yay!), Anna and Kevin have settled into their new home. It has traveled from Santa Paula (the construction site) to Santa Barbara where they currently reside.

The signature element of the design is the clerestory windows. We think it's appropriate to call this home THE LIGHT HAUS. For more photos, check out & LIKE our Facebook page. Thanks for following along!
