Fall '15 GX Schedule

FITLIFE GX FALL CLASS SCHEDULE NOW AVAILABLE

Our new Fall'15 schedule of weekly drop-in group exercise class has been finalized and is now posted on our website, fitlife.ucsc.edu.

Some additions/changes to note:

1) We've added several new early-morning classes on most weekdays from 7:30a-8:30a. This is in direct response from the large response we received to the survey we sent out earlier this summer. The majority of the responses indicated this time as the most popular/desired among students and employees alike. The majority of the responses also indicated Strength & Conditioning classes as the most desired for the early-morning.

2) We've been able to add a few more after-work and evening classes to the schedule, which have both been frequent requests. We've also been able to move all of our evening cardio-dance classes into the OPERS Dance Studio, which will provide a great deal more space for additional participants and greater freedom of movement.

3) Due to changes in the availability of some of our instructors we've had to change our schedule of classes at 2300 Delaware Ave. We'll fortunately still be able to offer one class each weekday at this location but the days and times of some classes have changed. Our all-levels Pilates class will now be offered on Tuesday AND Thursday afternoons, with the 2nd offering replacing our Qi Gong class. There will also now be one early-morning class, with all-levels Yoga being offered on Mondays from 7:30a-8:30a. Our Sunset Yoga and 2nd all-levels Yoga class will still be held on Wed evenings and Fri afternoons, respectively. Our Total Body Conditioning class has been relocated to the OPERS Multipurpose Room and will return to the Thursdays evening, 5:30p, schedule it had prior to last year.

Our weekly class schedules are always subject to change, so please refer to our class schedule on Google Calendars for the most up-to-date listing of class offerings, including occasional class cancellations and classroom relocations.

FALL "TRY BEFORE YOU BUY" WEEK

websitebanner tbybweek fall

Monday-Sunday, September 21-27, will be our FitLife GX program's "Try Before You Buy" week, when all of our classes, as well as admission to OPERS facilities, are offered for FREE. This makes it a perfect time to invite your friends, co-workers, family members, and/or anyone else to join you in the classes that you enjoy so much or have been anxious to try. They won't be able to use cost as an excuse for turning you down because there is none this week. No need to pre-register or buy any passes, just show up to class, ready to workout (we recommend arriving on-time or early, as some classes may reach their capacity this week).

And remember, our OPERS facilities are now joining in on this promotion by offering FREE facility admission during "Try Before You Buy" week.

Now you REALLY don't have an excuse for not giving FitLife GX a try! We look forward to seeing you in class!
