Bread from Heaven

Apparently not satisfied by Jesus’ feeding of thousands, some who were there press him for a sign of his power; perhaps it is daily manna they want. As always in John’s gospel when people want a sign, Jesus offers himself. He is the bread come from heaven to give life to the world. He calls us to come to him and believe in him, and through that relationship to know the one who sent him.

Pastors’ Emergency Fund

Sunday, August 5, 2018

The Worship Mission has designated the first Sunday of each month for donations to the Pastors’ Emergency Fund. Most recipients simply need a $25 gift card to Woodman’s for gas or groceries. Designated offering envelopes are available in the pews. Loose cash from the offering on the first Sunday of the month will also go to the Pastors’ Emergency Fund. You are encouraged to make donations to the fund at any time!

Bike Around Monona

Bike Monona, Saturday, August 11, 10:00 am

Ride with Pastor Stephen & Deb Jenson. We will be following the Lake Loop, with water stops along the way, and the final stop at the Monona Ice Cream and Bait Shop where ice cream or other treats are available for purchase. Following snacks and visiting time, feel free to bike home or head back to the church if you have a vehicle there. Water bottles and helmets recommended. This will be a leisurely ride so all levels are encouraged! The lake loop is a beautiful route, a little shy of 12 miles, and not that difficult. If you have not biked it before, consider joining us for this family event!
