We are also glad to send out prayer requests and praise reports anytime throughout the week! | Encouragement Thank you to Marcia Kreps for sharing and Darla Smith for writing these weekly bits of encouragement. "So happy to be able to reach out to you again this week. God is so good, and His mercies are brand new each morning. We are so blessed beyond measure. Each week I am excited to see what we can glean from God’s Word. So grateful to be used as His vessel. I am so thankful and humbled I get the opportunity to share with you what God puts on my heart every week." "That brings me to my Word for the week, “SHARE.” This past week, God used the ladies in a Bible study I am in to “share” another’s burden. In fact, it seems like He has been using us every week to “share” one way or another. It is our privilege to do so. We have been able to “share” in good ways as well. To “share” with others can be happy or sad. But we need to reach out to one another and “share” or just to be there. We can “share” a shoulder to cry on, or we can “share” in celebration of happiness. We can “share” what God has done in our lives about something another may be going through. We can “share” God’s love in many ways, and it does not cost us a dime. Now that is something to get excited about! Let us “share” encouragement with others. Holy Spirit, I ask you to lead us to those we need to “share” with. Show us the way – we want to learn to “share” to help others find their way. We are here to be used by You – In All Ways, we will acknowledge you and you will direct us in the way to go." “Make sure you don’t take things for granted and go slack in working for the common good; share what you have with others. God takes particular pleasure in acts of worship—a different kind of “sacrifice”—that take place in kitchen and workplace and on the streets." ~ Hebrews 13:16 (MSG) | May Worship ~ Online & In-Person Pastor Mike Hileman ~ Sundays at 11:00am. We can't wait to see mushrooms start to grow! Monday was a special day as we welcomed back Cameron Fortune for another spring/summer here at GG! Welcome home, Cam! He jumped right back into our routine, as we spent Monday and Tuesday cutting up a tree, doing lots of weeding, making jam, and more. On Wednesday we took a field trip, way out in the country. We visited the family farm of our client, Shawn. His neighbor, Kathy, and his mom, Rita, took us all on an amazing farm tour throughout northern Columbiana County. We had lunch at Kathy's farm, Johnson Family Farms, dining on delicious burgers from cows raised right on her farm! Over the course of the day, we met cows and a very sweet bull, baby chickens, cats and kittens, a horse and a donkey...and had a blast petting and giving treats to some of these beautiful creatures. We learned about silage, soybeans, farm equipment, milking, and beef. A truly wonderful day was had by all! Many thanks to Shawn, Rita, Kathy, Wes, Nikki, and all the other friendly and hard-working folks that gave their time and knowledge to teach us so many things! Today our crew was heading outside, bright and early, for more planting. Our busiest time of the year is ramping up and there is much work to be done.
