After Streamside completes our urban outreach camps, we are blessed with some unique ministry opportunities during our busiest time of the year as we welcome both week long camps and the resumption of weekend retreats. An extremely special week of camp for us is Brooklyn Tabernacle's Royal Family KIDS Camp. This national network of camps is focused on meeting the needs of children, ages 6-12, in the foster care system who have been victims of abuse, abandonment and neglect. While at camp they are treated royally! For many of these kids, a week of camp is not only a new experience, but a life-changing event that transforms the way they view themselves and their futures. We also had the privilege of again hosting day camp for Girls Scouts from the Heart of PA. By participating in Streamside's nature education program, led by Nature Joe Meyers, each of these girls see and hear of God's marvelous works and His love for them through Jesus Christ. On Labor Day Weekend, we run our alumni camp for ages 16 and older. A mixture of new alumni along with others well advanced in age gather to share fun, good food, Streamside memories and great teaching from Philadelphia area pastors. This Labor Day also marked the return of New Canaan UMC's "tent city." This Brazilian group transforms one of our fields into a festive atmosphere of fellowship, worship and food. Altogether, 1034 guests enjoyed a late summer experience at Streamside.

We have a clear, 2 fold message to churches as we represent the ministry of Streamside to pastors and other church leaders...

1. Streamside wants to creatively partner with your church so you can reach children in your neighborhoods with the Gospel of Jesus Christ by providing a week long quality Christian camping experience.
2. Streamside also wants to provide an affordable quality retreat facility with a service-oriented staff so your church can be strengthened through the powerful ministry of a retreat.

Frequency 2015

Streamside is proud to be a sponsor of the Frequency Conference at Temple University. We look forward to meeting with more pastors passionate about reaching the city.

Although any child is welcome at Streamside, we work hard to remain accessible to the most vulnerable children. Children from extreme poverty, dangerous neighborhoods, victims of abuse and neglect, with incarcerated parents, homeless shelters or foster care can experience a week of quality Christian camp through our ministry partnerships and scholarship programs.

You can support the ministry at Streamside including the Vincent Family by giving on-line at https://bcm21697.thankyou4caring.org/streamside or by mail to BCM International, 201 Granite Run Drive, Suite 260, Lancaster, PA 17601. Checks should be made out to BCM International and designated to Craig Vincent support (#16191).

Greg and William are studying criminal justice while Jerome is pursuing accounting. They bring extra life and joy to the Streamside community as they prepare for God-honoring, productive lives. College@Camp is an advanced component of our Arise Leadership programming which also include the SLT (Service & Leadership Training) & CIT (Counselor in Training) programs.
