Island Zen watercolor by Kathleen Chaney Fritz

If you've ever visited the shores of Michigan's Great Lakes, the sand dunes, Mackinac Island, light houses, and destination towns on the Michigan coastlines, then you will be captivated by Kathleen Chaney Fritz's beautiful watercolors.

We are fortunate to have on display several new watercolors by the artist such as the Market Street View to the Fort Mackinac Island watercolor (shown at the top of this page) and this watercolor titled Island Zen of a view from Mackinac Island to the Mackinac Bridge.

Also available are dozens of her other Michigan scenes in a variety of sizes starting at $40 -- framed! See them all in our west gallery and many on our Kathleen Chaney Fritz page!

StoennerBlueBaby

Iridescent blue hand-blown glass vase by Tom Stoenner.

We and our clients have been enchanted by the iridescent and colorful hand-blown glass vases by Hudson River Valley artist Tom Stoenner.

They each have a textural quality and the brilliant colors shift as one changes the viewing angle or lighting. They serve as beautiful works of art on display in any room, but are also fully functional to display fresh flowers. Many select them in a variety of sizes and shapes and display them as a grouping.

The artist made for us a large selection of the iridescent vases in a variety of colors and sizes. You can view them now in our west gallery and on our Tom Stoenner page!

CallihanCloudBank32x48-3750

Cloud Bank, oil painting on canvas, 32 x 48" by Michael Callihan

Western Michigan artist Michael Callihan's paintings take the viewer on a spiritual journey to places of serenity that inspire quiet reflection. Each is quietly captivating and peaceful.

Callihan recently completed several new paintings, many of which are now on display throughout Saper Galleries, and all are shown on our Michael Callihan page.

Like Monet, Callihan sometimes revisits scenes to show them in different seasons and changing light. On display are both small framed paintings and Callihan's very large impressionistic canvases.

Rick Hunter hand-blown glass vase with vertical colors on iridescent purple, 8" tall

Rick Hunter has been making colorful, iridescent hand-blown glass vases for us since 2010. Every one is unique and seemingly more beautiful than any he made earlier. He is creative in his designs and technique as you will see when viewing them on our Rick Hunter page.

He has been making hand-blown and fused glass from his Southern California studio since earning his Masters in Glass Blowing decades ago.

The Hunter glass vases are most often purchased as gifts for weddings, anniversaries, house-warmings, the holidays, and to thank a friend. They are functional, of quality craftsmanship, and one of the best values in gifts to share with others. See the most recent new additions on our Rick Hunter page and in our center gallery under the skylights!

PB035329

A dimensional six-sided pointillistic painting displayed on a pedestal stand by David Eckert. 12" square by 3" depth.

Pointillism -- the technique of painting with small distinct dots of individual colors to create a design or image that appears when viewed from a distance -- is the technique perfected by Mid-Michigan artist David Eckert, whose formal art studies were at universities in Colorado.

We have several of David's recent pointillist paintings now on display in our east gallery. On our David Eckert page you can see other views of this table-top painting in shades of gray.

By our front gallery entrance right now you can see an impressive, mesmerizing diamond-shaped colorful pointillist painting that is 8 1/2-feet tall and 8 1/2-feet wide!

That painting and close-up photos showing the artist's technique can be viewed on our David Eckert page. The paintings are amazing studies of a technique mastered by this artist but rarely practiced by others.

Treasure box made of 11 exotic and American woods by Larry Anderson. 11 x 4".

You've likely never seen hand-made wooden boxes like these before!

The unusual trapezoidal-shaped boxes are hand-constructed by craftsman Larry Anderson. Each is totally unique and constructed of an arrangement of individually cut segments of American woods and more exotic woods as described on our Larry Anderson page.

The boxes are contemporary, truly unique, and extraordinarily crafted. Each is lined on the bottom with black leather. They can be displayed on a nightstand, desk, table, or counter to hold keys, jewelry, eye glasses, earbuds, a favorite pen, pill containers, remote control, small collections, mementos or to hide your dark chocolates from others.

You may consider one as a gift but when seeing them, you'll likely want to keep it for yourself. See the collection of new Larry Anderson boxes on display now!
