Denali National Park

We'll camp and hike in Denali, but the highlight of our time there is taking the Denali Shuttle bus 66 miles into the park to the Eielson Visitor Center. Along the way you'll see grizzly bears, moose, arctic fox, braided rivers, alpine meadows, and we always hope to get a glimpse of North America's highest peak, Denali.

Worthington Glacier

A half mile hike gets us right up to the tip of this amazing glacier in one of the most beautiful places in Alaska, Thompson Pass. Feel the ice cold water pouring out of the glacier and take in the unbelievable surrounding vistas.

Valdez Glacier

Kayaking out to Valdez Glacier is a truly unique experience. We'll kayak to ice caves, icebergs, and right up to the glacier. Eat lunch on the glacier and hike around exploring the glacier's features. The blues and contours are unbelievable.

Kenai Fjords National Park

A wildlife cruise out into the Gulf of Alaska gives us incredible views of the mountains and glaciers of Kenai Fjords National Park. We'll see whales, sea otters, puffins and watch the glaciers calve. A second day in Kenai Fjords gives us great hiking opportunities along Exit Glacier and Harding Ice Field.

Guest Perspective from Terry Downey

The Alaska trip was certainly one of the most amazing trips I have taken with Adventure Bus (I think this was #8). I guess the best way to describe Alaska is that it is just raw, undisturbed land as far as you can see. This hike was in Denali National Park, we were fortunate enough to see both peaks in full view. The views include glaciers as far as you can see, incredibly colorful wildflowers as you hike, wildlife.......too many species to list! What a way to see this great state, with your friends, or with new friends you meet on Adventure Bus. Thank you Steph and Ardell for yet another amazing vacation. I will see you this summer in the Canadian Rockies!
