GG Restaurant Fundraisers

If you want to Dine for a Cause, head to Chipotle in Boardman (near Target) this Sunday, April 28 from
4-8pm. Chipotle does not require printed flyers. You can show it on your smartphone, inform them you are supporting Goodness Grows, or you can grab a flyer (or several) from our GG table and share them with your friends. Eating dinner out is an easy way to help Goodness Grows earn money for our programs!

Spring Fundraiser!

Gorgeous ferns will be available in May. We had these last year and they went like hotcakes! Buy some beauty for your home, porch, or yard while raising money to support the work of Goodness Grows. Ferns make great Mother's Day gifts!

At Whispering Pines.

Busy at GG

We have been busy cleaning out the warehouse, and Rachel's parents and brother, Roger, came to help. Roger also volunteered to mow our lawn last week for the first lawn mowing of the spring. Thanks to the Longs for their help and support! This week, we began with our volunteer time at Whispering Pines, enjoying the spring weather and the friendly pups (and people, too) that reside there. Sue Weaver came on Tuesday to make some amazing stuffed peppers with our crew. Our classroom friends helped us work on a variety of projects inside and outside. We sure will miss them when they end their season with us next month! Our other excitement this week was receiving a special envelope of seeds from Rob Greenfield and the Live Like Ally Foundation. Cards for Heroes

Have you stopped by the table in the Great Room to write a card for military personnel, veterans, and/or first responders? Help us spread some joy and appreciation. A simple card means more than you know! Grab a card, write a note, and then pop it into the appropriate envelope. More instructions are on the wall by the table. We will send off our missives of thanks in the beginning of May.

Coat & Clothing Drive

Ongoing Outreach/Mission Opportunity
Drop items off in the collection barrel or take them up to the Green Room, anytime throughout the year! Let your friends and family know that we accept donations year-round. We are happy to take coats, clothes, shoes, purses and bags, jewelry, hats, gloves and mittens, scarves, and even small household items. Anything that is clean and in good repair that you think someone else might be able to use!

For I was hungry and you gave me food;
I was thirsty and you gave me a drink;
I was a stranger and you took me in;
I was naked and you clothed me;
I was sick and you visited me.
I was in prison and you came to me.

.....When you did it to one of the least of these my brothers and sisters,
you were doing it to me.

Matthew 25: 35-36, 40
