MEET THE TEACHER (8/16/21) TIME CHANGES!

All individuals should wear a mask as you enter the building and keep it on during the duration of your visit. Please limit visitors to students and parent(s)/guardian(s). Families with siblings, please come during your chosen time.

Please note these changes:

8am-9am: PreK, Kinder, 5th Grade (PreK and Kinder, enter through front entrance; 5th Grade, enter through gate onward to 5th grade backdoor)

9:30am-10:30am: 1st Grade and 3rd Grade (1st Grade, enter through 1st grade hall door from outside school ; 3rd Grade, enter through front entrance)

11:00-12:00pm: 2nd Grade and 4th Grade (2nd Grade, enter through gate; 4th Grade enter through front entrance)

There will be staff stationed throughout the building to assist you with finding your child(ren)'s class(rooms).

School T-shirts will be for sale outside in the front of the school. $10 for T-shirts and $15 for the Baseball Tees. Cash or Check (please have exact amount, Checks made out to Mills ES).

Off-Site Programs

This semester the landscaping committee (aka Dirt Club) is planning our dates through the end of the year to make planning easier for everyone. See below for the list of dates and times. Note we're getting together a couple of times in August before school starts to work on prepping the campus.

These dates are subject to change (especially with weather), and we may sneak another outing or 2 in between depending on what projects are underway. We'll send reminders as individual dates approach, with details of what we'll be working on.

Bowie Bulldogs & Hotdogs

James Bowie High School PTSA welcomes all SW Austin families back to school! Join us for the 2021 Bulldogs & Hot Dogs community event on Saturday, Sep. 11 from 5-8 pm in the Bowie Courtyard. This event is hosted by PTSA and features games and activities for all ages. Admission is free but you are encouraged to bring money to purchase Bowie Bulldog spirit wear and support clubs and teams as they raise funds for their school year.
