Happy Fourth of July Weekend Friends!

Another wonderful weekend in the books! God’s people showed up ready to worship and I am confident His presence was with us. Today we launched into our new series titled “Freedom.” Over the next four weeks, we will discover the freedom we have in Christ as we take a deep dive into the book of Galatians. Pastor Robbie kicked off the series by sharing with us Paul’s concern for the churches in Galatia. His warning to avoid false teachers and stay committed to the one true gospel still resonates well today. In addition to starting a new series, we also had the privilege of baptizing two new people into Christ today! Congratulations to Desiree Burke and Ashley Huffman. If you were unable to join us in person or online, be sure to click here to watch the service.

Please continue to pray for Pastor Rusty throughout July. For those who might have missed the announcement, our lead pastor is taking this month to focus solely on preparing the 2022 preaching schedule. This means he is out of the office during the week and out of the pulpit on the weekend through the month of July. This is an invaluable experience for Pastor Rusty and an incredible ministry tool for the staff. His focus this month will allow him to see clearly where God is calling this church over the course of next year which will, in turn, allow the staff to better prepare for what’s to come. Pray for Pastor Rusty. Pray for God’s wisdom, discernment, and clarity to be upon him. And pray for our staff as we keep things moving during his time away.

Today marks the anniversary of the birth of our great nation. For most of us, we will enjoy fireworks, grill out, and lounge in the pool; and you should. We should celebrate the freedom we have in America and should enjoy what God has given us. As you celebrate, though, take time and express gratitude for the ones who sacrificed for those freedoms. Give thanks to God for the freedoms we experience here in America.

As always, your God loves you, we love you, we’ll see you next time!

In Christ,

Pastor Jared
