And This Little Pig……

The famous miniature pigs are out and about in the Mezzanine and elsewhere to remind members of the 2015 Pig & Pit Classic-Tennis Tournament & Mega BBQ, July 25-26 with festivities on The Terrace & Pavilion.

Member Murmurs

“Every organization I joined welcomed me to their family. Sort of like hearing have a nice day. But here, they warned me this Tennis Family was loony tunes, noisy, engaging, energetic and way too passionate about my new tennis lifestyle.

“They yell at me from the Mezzanine to move my feet. They check my strokes off court. They whoop and holler when I win a point. They clap when I fall down hustling too much. They’re all over my case.

“They won’t let me alone. I love it!” Mike Cronenberger

Our Man Buist

First Brother Pete Buist, USPA/PTR, runs the half marathon (13.2 miles) at Traverse City. Then he scampers out on the course 3-5 miles to intercept a friend completing the big marathon, to “team” him to the finish. Repeating the catch, Pete runs out on the course another 3-5 miles to partner wife Jill to the finish.

“I just wanted to cheer them on and boost their motivation to finish,” said Pete, Good Samaritan for all marathons ever run in North America.

“He does that again, he’s a dead man,” said Jill.
