Merriwood Christian Camp

Merriwood Christian Camp (in Clemmons) is a TRUE summer-camp experience! MCC offers quality, co-ed, age-specific programming for rising 1st graders through graduating seniors.

Activities include bounce house, pool, 48-foot climbing wall, disc golf, archery, riflery, mountain biking, blob and water obstacle course, canoeing and paddle boating, team building, outdoor cooking, model rocketry, and high ropes (depending on age).

Campers will be encouraged and challenged both spiritually and emotionally, gain independence, meet new friends, be mentored by quality summer team, and be challenged with Biblical principles.

Star Wars 2.0 Winston-Salem Symphony Discovery Concert for Kids

Join Jessica Morel, Assistant Conductor, and the fabulous Winston-Salem Symphony musicians as the Orchestra Strikes Back and returns to that galaxy far, far away for an afternoon of music from the Star Wars films composed by John Williams.

The Discovery Concert for Kids concert takes place Sunday, February 11 at 3 p.m. at Reynolds Auditorium in Winston-Salem. The fun starts at 2 p.m. with hands-on, pre-concert activities including an opportunity to play musical instruments; a chance to meet favorite characters from the Carolina Garrison of the 501st Legion (includes a photo opportunity); and more!
