"I pray your week has been so blessed you can hardly contain it! Been enjoying the spectacular weather here in NE Ohio. The clouds and sky have been God’s masterpiece. He loves us so much! We have plenty of daylight now to enjoy. Like one of my friends said this week – take advantage of that! I am looking forward to going kayaking soon. Just waiting a bit for the water temp to go up." "My Word for this week is “STAND.” Our Pastor on Sunday gave this wonderful message about The Anchor Holds. It was just what our congregation needed to hear. It also goes right along with my Word. Some of us, if not most of us, have been though some tough times lately but I want to encourage you to “stand.” God sees exactly where you are. He has already traveled that road before you. Bear down, buckle down and “stand” firm in Him. He will get us through our storms. Dig your heels in and say, not today satan, you have no authority – I will “stand” on the authority of the Savior of the world – His name is Jesus. I was thinking the last time I was at the beach, and I was standing near the edge of the water – when the water went in and out around my feet, I would almost lose my balance, but my feet would dig deeper in the sand, and I would “stand.” That is exactly what we need to do – dig our feet a little deeper in Him and “stand” to battle the storm going on around us. Holy Spirit, teach us to dig a little deeper in You. Get grounded in the Holy Spirit so NO WEAPON FORMED AGAINST US WILL PROSPER. We will “stand” victorious right where we are. We are victorious children of the most high God – Don’t ever forget that and “stand!”' “Watch, stand fast in the faith, be brave, be strong. Let all that you do be done with love."

If you or anyone you know has been in search of sugar free jam, Miss Rachel and our crew have you covered! We also made more Hot, Dragon, and Pineapple Habanero Jungle Jam since we have so many markets/shows coming up this summer. Most of our time has been taken up with mulching this week. We are making pathways through the fields, so that people do not step on our beautiful, delicate plants. We've used so much mulch that we are now out and will be starting to make our own! We've also done some planting, getting two types of lettuce into raised beds. Check out the front garden area, where we now have some high raised beds set up. Our mushroom experiment has moved into a new phase. We have now popped them into a refrigerator to keep them in a sort of stasis. When it gets closer to our first CSA day, we will move them out to start the fruiting process. We are so excited to see how it goes! | Jungle Jam and Juicy Jam are available in several flavors at Reach for the STARS in Salem and in Columbiana at the Chamber of Commerce office. Leetonia Friends of the Library Book Sale will be located in the annex building behind the library. All items are only $0.50. Proceeds benefit Leetonia Community Public Library. | Scavenger Hunt on Logan's Loop Trail Saturday, 1-4pm at the Beaver Creek Wildlife Education Center
Kids and their adults can take a fun short hike on Logan's Loop trail, located behind the Wildlife Education Center, and try to find all the animals on the scavenger hunt list. When the hunt is completed, families will receive a booklet about the animals they found on the trail. Adults can pick up the scavenger hunt paper, a pencil, and a clip board under the pavilion. The hike is .6 miles long and has a couple steeper areas. Participants should wear sturdy shoes. Come on out to the Beaver Creek Wildlife Education Center at 12884 Echo Dell Rd, East Liverpool for some family fun and see how many of the hidden animals you can find!! Will be canceled in case of bad weather. | Drive-Thru Dinner in North Lima Saturday, 3-6pm at Calvary United Methodist Church
Drive-thru Chicken BBQ dinner includes half a BBQ chicken, baked potato, green beans, applesauce, roll with butter and pie - all for only $12. Proceeds will be used to further ministries.
