Message from the CEO

As stated by the American playwright and poet Ntozake Shange, "where there is a woman, there is magic." Across all Thalias' outlets, we can but only observe it every day through our hard-working kitchen, service and administration teams. Since inception, we have cherished the value of having women in positions of power, and over the years we have definitely come to reap the benefits of that. We are considered to be among Cambodia’s most respected hospitality groups – and we have gotten to this position with almost all of our outlets now being run by women.

On the occasion of the upcoming International Women's Day, we have decided to highlight how magic women of our company and the wider world can be through what we do best: food. This month, each Thalias' outlet offers you the chance to taste a delicious dish created by the women that make our success every day. Indulge yourself with a flavourful Green Curry Bang Kang made with love by Ms Chea Srey Pov at Malis Phnom Penh or savour a refreshing Scallop and Prawn Salad concocted by Ms Va Sokny at Khéma La Poste... Find all the amazing dishes created for the occasion in our newsletter below and don't forget to make your reservation.

In the meantime, I applaud them all for their creativity, savoir-faire and hard work.

Yours sincerely,
Arnaud DARC
CEO and Chairman Thalias Hospitality Group

“If you work hard to get as much experience as you can, you will also become a chef in the future.” It takes a very fine hand to compose one of Topaz’s most striking signature dishes, the Avocado and Crab Millefeuille, a delicate multi-layered combination of sweet crab meat and soft, ripe avocado topped with vibrant salmon roe and fresh Asian herbs. Which is another reason why we count ourselves lucky to have Pech Srey Neath on the team. Read more...
