As our business grows and finds new directions, we like to look ahead at this time of year and let you know some of our plans.
As more and more exciting things seem to be happening all the time around Solar Gardens and our city shop, Solar Gardens at Avalon, we've decided not to do any garden or home shows this year, including Gardenscape at Prairieland Exhibition in Saskatoon nor the Canada Blooms Show in Toronto. However, the great news is, even though you may miss us at Gardenscape, we will be hosting our own event (probably the weekend before Gardenscape) at BOTH the acreage and the Avalon shop simultaneously. We've got lots planned. We'll reveal more details in the New Year.
We're really looking forward to planning special events in the Firestick Cafe and at the acreage this upcoming winter, spring, summer and fall. We have a number of large weddings booked in 2020 and other large private parties. If you're thinking you need a place to hold a special event such as a wedding or family reunion or treat some special clients or employees or a get-together for any reason (big or small), send us an email and we can start planning. Our acreage will be closed to the general public all year permanently now, which will allow us time to accommodate our growing event schedule, public classes and private pizza parties.
We're always on the hunt to bring new and unique items (food and otherwise) to the Avalon shop. We have some great new candy and food products coming in the new year that we have never seen in Canada. Our goal for our cute little shop is to offer products that you can't buy (or taste) anywhere else.
We're also very excited to get back to some serious gardening at the acreage. We have a number of different types of new gardens planned, including a formal English garden. Stay tuned as you will be invited to view them at different times throughout the summer, affiliated with a tour and pizza party. We'll keep you informed on Facebook and by email newsletters (just like this one).
And of course, we're looking forward to 2020 (and waaaay beyond) with our new puppies - Oliver, Petal and Bud, as well as our lovely old puppy - Dexter!
