Marketing!

Lets face it, I couldn't run this business without a bit of marketing. I am very grateful to many of my hosts who often hand out leaflets and business cards on my behalf when chatting to people about the lovely dogs they are walking. If anyone else would be willing to share leaflets for me I would be very grateful. I am particularly interested in sharing our information with groups like the U3A, Women's Institute, Rotary Clubs, Lions Clubs, walking groups etc so if you think you can help then I would love to hear from you. Thank you for your continued support.

hot car

Summer is fast approaching and the Dogs Trust are raising awareness regarding leaving dogs in hot cars and what to do if you see a dog in distress.

Leaving a car window open is not enough. Dogs cannot sweat like us and therefore it could take just 20 minutes for a dog to die in a hot car. Please watch and share this youtube video . It shows a vet in a hot car for 30 minutes to show what it's like for a dog. It is a big eye opener.

Dog owners four times likely meet exercise targets

16290

An article from the Daily Mail has stated that dog owners are four times more likely to meet the recommended activity targets just by walking their pets.

The studies show that 9 in 10 people with dogs meet the target overall - but this drops to just 60% among people without pets.

Can't have a dog full time and want to get out more? Why not host for us and take advantage of the free exercise and doggy cuddles!

As children begin the countdown to the long school holidays this summer, parents everywhere will undoubtedly be fearing the dreaded ‘I’m bored’ announcement from their offspring. This announcement is often approached with the same parental concern as the ‘Can we have a dog?’ question but there is now a solution to both!

At Barking Mad, the UK’s No. 1 dog sitting service provider as verified by Trustpilot, we are currently offering animal loving families, with children aged five or above, the opportunity to join our Host Community and experience having a friendly dog to stay. Walks, play and all the fun associated with caring for a lovely pooch are included, at a time to suit each individual family.
