Tuesday July 1st
• 11am - Water Games down at the swimming lake.
• 2pm - Dodge Ball in the barn!
• 4pm - Elbow tag on the ball field!
Rainy Day Activity: Meet at the barn
• 8pm - Movie Night!! Bring the entire family for a free night at the movies. Meet at the ball field.
o Rainy activity: If it rains we will watch the movie in the Barn!
• Please bring blankets and chairs for your comfort!
Wednesday July 2nd
• 10am - Hike to Hidden Falls. Please wear hiking clothes and bring a plenty of water!
• 1 - 3pm - Oconee State Park Scavenger Hunt!!!!
• 4pm - CCC Walk and Talk with the Ranger! Learn how the park was built!
• 7pm - BINGO BINGO BINGO!!!!!!!!! Come out and play games of bingo at Oconee State Park. Meet in the Barn!
Thursday July 3rd
• 11am -12pm - Sharks and Minnows. Meet at the ball field.
• 2 - 3pm - Dodge Ball in the Barn!
• 3:30 - 4:15pm - Homemade Ice Cream in a bag. Meet at the office to make your homemade ice cream!
• 8pm - Candlelight tour. We will meet at the park office at 8pm to go to a candlelight tour of Oconee Station. Leave your flashlights at home!
Friday July 4th!!
• 9am - All Day field games on the ball field!! Come out and play with us here at Oconee State Park!! Prizes and games for the entire family!!
• 1pm - Water games down at the lake!! After the field day games come down to the lake for water games! (Belly flop contest, cannon ball contest, watermelon eating, and greased watermelon contest, and much more!)
• Come out and enjoy the OSP Slip-n-slide in between the office and the swimming lake!
• 7 - 7:30pm - Square Dance Lessons in the barn!
• 8 - 10pm - Square Dance in the barn! Come out and enjoy live music and dancing at Oconee State Park! The HotFoot Cloggers will be performing during the intermission.
Saturday July 5th
• 2 - 4pm - Horse shoe and corn-hole tournament down at the swimming lake.
o Rainy Day Activity: Fish printing at the Barn!
• 6 - 7pm - Softball game on the ball field. Bring a glove if you have one.
• 8pm - Storytelling on the lawn at the swimming area!! Everyone welcome!
Sunday July 6th
• 9:30am - Church Service in the Barn.
Music, Bouncies for the kids & Fireworks!
• Gates open at 5pm
• Bouncies for the kids
• Funk Factory Band at 6pm
• The Seneca City Council Welcome and introduction 8pm
• National Anthem
• Fireworks
• The Tams perform after fireworks around 9:15
Join the fun and decorate your golf cart for the Parade!
• Inflatable Water Slide
• Golf Cart Parade - Most Patriotic (Band will judge the parade)
• Local Band performance by Dakota McAllister and Country Family Traditions start at 7:30 PM
• Fireworks at 9:15 pm
55th Annual HILLBILLY DAY at the Mountain Rest Community Club - 120 Verner Mill Road, Mountain Rest
Celebrate America at the longest-running annual festival in South Carolina. Bring a lawn chair and stay awhile. This family friendly event features: crafters, children's games, food, bluegrass and gospel music, clogging, square dancing, fiddling and tug-o-war.
Events happen rain or shine.
